KIHOMAC will begin construction of a new 67,700 square foot facility located just south of the existing facility at 3800 N Fairfield Road. The new building will provide space to develop multiple products which do not require a secure facility, provide additional storage capacity, and create 100 additional jobs. The facility will also include internal “start-up” space for innovating new products and creating solutions to existing products, and space to develop an in-house apprenticeship program to attract new talent, currently not attainable through other methods. In addition, this apprenticeship space will be offered to other employers in the aerospace and defense industry through a separate agreement between that employer and KIHOMAC.
