The Layton City Community and Economic Development department recently hosted another successful Small Business Seminar on August 7, 2025. This quarter’s seminar, “Boost Your Small Business: Proven Social Media Marketing Strategies for Success,” drew more than 30 attendees eager to learn from local experts.
Local social media marketing specialists, Jared Smart of Elite Media and Trish Thomason of Social Buzzerfly, led the seminar. They taught business owners and managers how to use cost-effective social media advertising to reach specific audiences, ensuring a more efficient use of their marketing budget compared to traditional methods.
Attendees also learned how to:
- Increase website traffic and potential sales through targeted campaigns.
- Gain a competitive edge by showcasing unique offerings with engaging content.
- Boost their credibility and SEO performance with a consistent and active social media presence.
Sam’s Club generously sponsored a free lunch for everyone in attendance, and the presenters took the time to answer specific questions, offering tailored advice to each business.
